The restaurant offers a fascinating menu that brings together the best of local raw materials with premium French cooking techniques. The result - a creative and stimulating cuisine and a multi-faceted culinary statement.
The menu is accompanied by wines from top Israeli boutique wineries such as Dr. Porat, Bustan, Tabor, and Golan Heights. The restaurant's cellar has a fine collection of outstanding vintages from specially selected boutique wineries.
As well as the classic cuisine and distinctive atmosphere, Canela offers a variety of options for events, that are held on the restaurant’s second floor – which overlooks the first floor through an glass ceiling, defined by walls. The option for entering through a separate entrance from the street, the bar, separate kitchen and bathroom upstairs promise perfect, exclusive events (catering for up to 100 people).
A private VIP room is also available upstairs, with acoustic separation from the rest of the space, by means of modular walls. Services offered are a removable ceiling projector, TV, wireless internet, telephone conferencing and fax, making our VIP room the perfect option for business meetings or special occasions.
At Canela, we offer tours of Jerusalem combined with culinary workshops (the tours are led by tour-guide Oded Amitai, and workshops are run by Chef Lior Haftzedi). |
